Jerusalem

The year 2007 is a very important year.  When taken apart the number 2007 has great meaning.  First of all the number 2 in Biblical numeric is the number for UNION and WITNESSING.  The symbolic significance is found in Jesus sending His disciples out two by two (Luke Chapter 10).  The number represented added strength, double energy, confirmed power.  The number two also represents UNION.  The passage in Genesis 2:23 & 24 reminds us of the ONENESS that occurs when a man unite with the woman and the two becomes one.  This is carried forth in the message found in Ephesians 5:31 with Christ and the Church.  Therefore this year should be one of Witnessing and re-Uniting ourselves to the cause of building up the Kingdom of God.

 Next the Biblical numeric for thousand is also important.  Thousand is representative of DIVINE COMPLETENESS AND THE GLORY OF GOD.  The Book of Revelation uses the number thousand in connection with Angels and God’s Divine care and protection to those who are in Christ Jesus (Revelation 5:11).  The Hebrews had no number for million so the number thousand thousand would represent a million.  But even more importantly, it represented the Glory of God.  The book of Daniel also brings us into the recognition of God’s Glory and Completeness (Daniel 7:10).  Therefore, make this year a time to give God the Glory He deserves.  “To God be the Glory” should be our motto for the year. 

The last number Seven is considered the most important sacred number in the Hebrews.  The number SEVEN is a combination of FOUR (perfect World number) and the number THREE (Trinity => Father, Son, & Holy Spirit).  The number Seven combines God with the World.  The number seven also reminds us of the passage in Romans 5:10 and 2 Corinthians 5:18 & 19 the works of reconciliation. Notice the following

 Seven Churches            Seven Stars            Seven seals

 Seven trumpets            Seven vials              Seven personages

 Seven dooms                Seven new things         

The number 7 implies “IT IS DONE” and reminds us of COMPLETION.  Therefore, allow the year 2007 to be a year of Unifying, Glorying and Reconciling.  Be COMPLETE in your actions for the up build of God’s Kingdom.  With all the problems in the world … God is looking for a people that will hear His Voice.  May you continue in the Blessings of the Lord.
